Akil Gibbons directed this commercial spot for Square on AREA15, a Las Vegas premiere immersive experiential venue where virtual reality, massive art installations, bars, restaurants, unique retail, and events coalesce to create a one-of-a-kind experience for visitors. This commercial look and feel drew inspiration from Akil’s favorite sci-fi and neon films homaging looks from “Blade Runner”, Belly, and 2001 Space Odyssey.
